Introduction:
Eupatilin is also called Eupatilin. Eupatilin is a pharmacologically active flavonoid extracted from mugwort (Asteraceae). It is used for mucosal protection and has anti-inflammatory properties. Used to treat gastritis and peptic ulcer, it has antioxidant effects on gastric mucosal damage and can enhance the regeneration of damaged mucosa. Isozanthin was identified as having anti-tumor effects: Isozanthin inhibits angiogenesis in gastric cancer cells by blocking the expression of signal transduction molecules and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and the activation of transcription factor 3. Isozanthin can be used as a chemopreventive and antimetastatic agent for human gastric cancer.
Physical and chemical properties:
The pure product is yellow needle crystal, density: 1.387g/cm3, boiling point: 583.6℃, flash point: 214.7℃, melting point 234-236℃, soluble in DMSO, hot methanol, chloroform-methanol mixed solvent, and insoluble in petroleum ether and other solvents.
